Resumen

Estudio realizado sobre 114 trabajadores de una gran empresa pública de la ciudad de Barcelona. Los objetivos del mismo fueron medir la validez de un cuestionario sobre la historia profesional, obtenido por entrevista telefónica, a partir del registro de personal de dicha empresa e identificar las características socioprofesionales que se asocian con la misma. Se analizó la validez del empleo principal y secundario (nombre del empleo y duración del mismo) declarado por los entrevistados, comparándolos con el registro de la empresa como criterio de referencia.

La validez del nombre de la ocupación principal y secundaria es del 88 % y 74 % respectivamente y la de la duración de los mismos es del 57 % y 64,4 %. La validez de la historia profesional, en cuanto al nombre del empleo principal y secundario es alta. Sin embargo, la de la duración de los mismos es baja.

Summary

The study was carried out on 114 workers of a large firm in the city of Barcelona. Its objectives were to measure the validity of a questionnaire on professional history, achieved by telephone interviews, using the firm's employee register and to identify the socio-professional characteristics associated with the firm. The validity of the main and secondary occupation (name and length of the occupation) was assessed by company repported information with that in the firm's registry, wich was considered as a refference criterion.

The validity of the name of the main and secondary occupation was 88 % and 74 % respectively and the validity of their length was 57 % and 64.4 % respectively. The validity of professional history, in as much as the name of the main and secondary occupation was high. The validity of their lenght was low.
